災害は、ある日突然やってきます。
そんなときこそ、人々に安心感と清潔さを届ける存在が必要だと考えました。
白と水色を基調とした本デザインは、姫路城の象徴性をさりげなく残しながら、誰もが安心して近づける「清潔で爽やかなトイレトレーラー」を目指しています。清潔・衛生・安心を直感的に伝える配色は、災害時においても「安心して使える」という心理的効果を生み出します。
姫路城はイラストタッチで表現し、堅牢さや威厳よりも清潔さと親しみやすさを重視することで、年齢や立場を問わず、誰にとっても近寄りやすい公共デザインとしています。まるで姫路城が地域へ出張してきたかのように、静かに寄り添い、人々を支える存在です。
災害時、ただのトイレではなく、
「清潔で安心できる姫路城が来てくれた！」
そう感じてもらえる存在でありたいと考えました。
白と水色がもたらす爽やかな清潔感は、利用者に安心を与えると同時に、姫路市からの「寄り添う心」を静かに伝えます。どこへ派遣されても、姫路市のシンボルが清潔さと安心を運ぶ。そんな想いを込めたデザインです。


Himeji City Mobile Disaster Toilet Trailer
Disasters strike without warning.
In moments like these, we believe it is essential to have something that brings people a sense of reassurance and cleanliness.
Based on a palette of white and light blue, this design subtly retains the symbolic presence of Himeji Castle while aiming to create a clean, fresh, and approachable toilet trailer that anyone can feel comfortable using. The color scheme intuitively conveys hygiene, safety, and trust, creating a psychological sense of ease even in emergency situations.
Himeji Castle is expressed through a soft, illustrated style rather than a realistic depiction. By prioritizing cleanliness and approachability over strength or authority, the design becomes a public facility that feels welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds. It is envisioned as if Himeji Castle itself has traveled to the community—quietly standing beside people and supporting them when they need it most.
In times of disaster, this is not meant to be just a toilet, but something that makes people feel:
“A clean and reassuring Himeji Castle has come to help.”
The refreshing clarity created by white and light blue offers users peace of mind, while gently conveying the City of Himeji’s spirit of care and solidarity. Wherever it is deployed, the symbol of Himeji delivers cleanliness and reassurance.
This design is created with that intention at its core.
