災害時には、トイレを我慢するために水分補給を控えてしまい、エコノミークラス症候群などの健康被害につながることがあります。そうしたリスクを軽減し、安心して利用できる衛生的なトイレ環境を確保するために導入されたのが、この災害用トイレトレーラーです。
災害が起きる日は、土砂降りの雨の日かもしれません。
また、不安な夜が続くこともあるかもしれません。

そんな状況の中でも、このトイレトレーラーを見た人が、晴れた空が広がる日のように、少しでも前向きな気持ちになれるように。そして、「姫路城が来てくれた」と感じてもらえるように。
このデザインには、姫路市の象徴が“清潔さと安心”を運び、人々に静かに寄り添う存在であってほしいという想いを込めています。

In times of emergency, what people need is not only functionality, but also something that provides reassurance.

During disasters, people often avoid drinking water because they hesitate to use inadequate toilet facilities. This can lead to serious health risks, including deep vein thrombosis (commonly known as economy class syndrome). To help reduce these risks and provide a clean, hygienic environment, Himeji City introduced its Mobile Disaster Toilet Trailer.
Disasters may come on days of heavy rain.
They may also bring long and uncertain nights.

Even in those moments, I hope this trailer can help people feel just a little more positive—as if the clear blue sky had returned. I also hope it gives people the comforting feeling that:
"Himeji Castle has come to support us."
This design expresses the hope that the symbol of Himeji City can quietly deliver cleanliness, reassurance, and comfort wherever it is needed most.
