大阪府生まれ。兵庫県出身。秋田公立美術工芸短期大学（現・秋田公立美術大学）専攻科課程修了後、武蔵野美術大学を卒業。大学卒業後、株式会社TENGAのプロダクトデザイナーとして、安全で機能的かつ衛生的な「セクシャルウェルネス商品」の研究開発に携わる。2022年、人と人とのコミュニケーションをテーマにしたブランド「CARESSA」を立ち上げ、世界三大デザイン賞の一つ「Red Dot Design Award」プロダクトデザイン部門にて「レッド・ドット・デザイン賞 2022」を受賞。そして、おばあちゃん子。
Shunsuke Ikeda is a Japanese product designer.
Born in Osaka and raised in Hyogo, Shunsuke Ikeda completed the advanced program at Akita Municipal Junior College of Arts and Crafts (now Akita University of Art), and graduated from Musashino Art University. After graduation, he worked as a product designer at TENGA Co., Ltd., engaging in the research and development of safe, functional, and hygienic sexual wellness products. In 2022, he launched "CARESSA," a brand themed around human communication, and received the "Red Dot Design Award 2022" in the Product Design category—one of the world’s three major design awards. And most importantly, he's a proud grandma’s boy.
